When we, Ken Felty and Lorraine Silva, decided to retire from Sunny Florida to the beautiful Rocky Mountains of south central Colorado, we knew that a beautiful log home was in future plans. With the completion of design and construction, our new home reflects our ideas and lifestyle in a meaningful way.

Ken's extensive background is in sales, and Lorraine's background and education is in accounting and computers. It only seemed natural for our new home and lifestyle to represent the very best of a distributorship for Rocky Mountain Log Homes in Westcliffe, Colorado.

Our new office center is located at 511 Main Street, in Westcliffe, and contains information and brochures to help you plan your new home, wherever it may be.

We are also available for consultation and site visits and will be happy to help you coordinate planning or construction. Feel free to contact us at 719-783-3260, or stop by our location for a personal tour of the local valley. Our primary location serves both Custer and Fremont counties, and local contacts cover many other areas of central and southern Colorado. Our personal sales manager, Tommy Briscoe, can be reached at the home office at 406-375-1826.

Why we got involved as Rocky Mountain Log Homes Distributors

As authorized distributors of Rocky Mountain Log Homes, which is located in Hamilton, Montana, we had our Rocky Mountain Log home built in 2002. Once we saw our beautiful log home, the quality of the logs, and the great room with the Adobe fireplace, we wanted to share this excitement with everyone. Knowing we would be retiring to Westcliffe in Custer County Colorado. We applied for the distributorship which includes Custer County, Fremont County and points south.

With the knowledge, experience and challenges we have gained in building our log home, we know we can help others avoid the problems of building in rural areas. We are here to support and help you. We will make it possible for you to live the Rocky Mountain Log Home dream.

Use our experience from design and planning all the way through construction.

With our help we make it easy for you to design your Rocky Mountain Log Home by using some of the ideas from the many award winning Rocky home designs. Our office has several standard plans to use as starters, or visit Rocky Mountain Log Home web site, www.rmlh.com. We can take you on a tour of Rocky Mounting Log Homes under construction and completed.  Most of our customers start with one of the standard log home floor plans, and then make modifications that meet their needs, wants and lifestyle. Rocky Mountain Log Homes design team combines over 100 years of custom log home experience, to help you customize or design the floor plan you want.

Rocky gives you a two-stage design process that allows you to modify the design prior to preparing final construction drawings. We are with you during this designing session and, we also review the preliminary set of drawings with you to make sure it has all the features you want in your log home.  After you “red line” the first set of plans Rocky sends the final drawings to be reviewed and then the final construction set is drawn, which will be used for obtaining building permits.

Financing of Your Rocky Mountain Log Home

We work with dependable lending institutions that are familiar with our product and can easily provide you a construction-to-mortgage loan.  We can recommend local or national financial institutions. Rocky Mountain Log Homes and Indy Mac Bank are working together to make your dream home a reality. The construction to permanent loan eliminates the need for multiple loans.
